Tucked away upstairs (where the old Toolshed once was), Luyu & Yum Yum’s wood panelling, brick walls and bright neon signs capture Newtown grunge to a tee, while an open kitchen allows diners to watch talented Chefs expertly stuff and steam made-to-order dumplings, all created using local produce. Indulge in caviar dumplings of prawn, carrot, coriander and celery or Luyu’s signature steamed 'Starburst' dumplings - chicken mince and soup-filled colourful dough parcels that have been infused with fruit.
