Board a gondola, glide over the rainforests to Kuranda with two stops on the way at Red Peak rainforest boardwalk and the spectacular Barron Gorge

Stop At: Kuranda, Kuranda, Queensland

Upon arriving in Kuranda, I will meet you and take you to the nearby village where you will have ample time to explore, shop and eat on your own.

Stop At: Kuranda Scenic Railway, Kuranda QLD 4881, Australia

Board the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway for a narrated journey . Travel through World Heritage Listed rainforest through 15 tunnels and over 37 bridges as you make your way to Freshwater Station. Includes a stop at the spectacular Barron Gorge to view the waterall.

Air conditioned transfer available from most hotels and accomodation houses in Cairns city and inner suburbs. I regret I can not offer transfers to customers staying on the northern beaches, Machan's, Holloways, Trinity, Kewarra, Clifton Beaches, Palm Cove or Yorkey's Knob

    Wonderful tourguide pick up. Thank you Michael. Great sightseeing and warm, friendly staff to assist and direct. Delicious food at Kuranda.

    Amazing day highly recommended. Sky train simply breathtaking, village was great we bought some aboriginal artwork, nice easy train ride home

    Caught the skyrail just outside of cairns . Picked the 11 am time to make sure we made it on time but that was a bad mistake . The skyrail was Good with two stops to look around and see the rainforest and Barron falls view . Arrived at Kuranda and it started closing at about 12.30 pm. Markets and shops closed and there was not much open. The only people we saw were some shop owners closing up and some fellow travellers waiting for the 3.30pm train. Sure there are nice walls like the Jumrum creek walk but by the end of it we had seen enough rainforest walks. Had to try and kill time walking through cheap souvenirs ( well not that cheap ) and sarongs. Some nice photographic art studios there if you can spare AU$2000. This is written as we wait 2 hours for the train . The train ride would show some nice scenery.

    The skyrail up was amazing and the train ride back was so beautiful and i’d do it again and again in a heartbeat

    Our tour guide Michael was very informative about area we drove through. picked us up on time and returned us straight back home from train trip.

    The views on both the train and Skyrail were amazing. Michael our tour guide was so helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly. Our kids loved it!

    A magical trip on the skyrail with fantastic views. Great hospitality from everyone in Kuranda and especially the German restaurant. Full marks to Michael our guide who really looked after us.

    Visiting Cairns on holiday this is a MUST see. We went up in the Gondola 🚠 and down back to Cairns on the train. Downloaded the skyrail app and it gave us a FULL commentary all the way up the mountain fantastic. The train trip down is also commentated telling you all about the area FANTASTIC day out. Barron falls was a spectacular sight to see too

    It's was most experience ride up in the Skyrail looking down was lovely ride in it and walking round the shops and then ride home in the train with looking down the banks and the water falls.

    Our tour guide was very good, staff were friendly both on train and skyrail. even through it was a misty day it was still beautiful.
