Our local guide will meet you at our booking office where you will join a small group of fellow travellers on an all inclusive gourmet wilderness adventure on Bruny Island.

Your day tour experience:
• Enjoy award winning cheeses, premium wines and beer, freshly shucked oysters, handmade fudge, local honey and a delicious lunch at Pennicott’s beachside restaurant with sweeping views of Adventure Bay
• Meet and hear the stories of island producers including an exclusive private cheese and beer experience at Bruny Island Cheese Company
• Take in the glorious views from the iconic Neck Lookout
• Walk along pristine sandy beaches
• Step back in time with a walk through the ancient Mavista Rainforest

Our beachside restaurant is located at Adventure Bay, with sweeping views of the Bruny Island coastline. Here you will dine on Get Shucked's famous oysters alongside your choice of lunch. We recommend the premium Tasmanian fish, chips and salad to keep you fuelled as you k eep exploring the island. Lunch is accompanied by two glasses of premium local and Tasmanian wine, beer or cider.

    Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. David was our tour guide and was excellent, great commentary, good driver, very personable, easy to understand, full of knowledge, gave us the day itinerary at start and during the day so we knew where we were going all the time, and made it a fun day out. The stops we went too were really good, loved the cheese and honey tastings and the fudge and chocolate shop too. Lunch was really nice and substantial. Although I dont eat oysters, the other people at my table thoroughly enjoyed mine :) Stopping at the Isthmus and climbing up to the lookout for spectacular views was a highlight, and huge thanks to the the chocolate people for allowing us to wander through their private garden. I would thoroughly recommend this tour and would do it again if in the Hobart area.

    This was one of the best tours we've ever been on - and we've been on a few - made all the better by our amiable guide Hugh. It helps to have a guide who is engaging, funny, flexible, knowledgeable, and tuned in to the crowd, which Hugh certainly was. A lovely way to experience Bruny Island, even in the wet conditions when we visited. The food was delicious, particularly the included lunch, and there was plenty of time to enjoy everything, no rushing. We only briefly went into the rain-forest as it was very wet and wouldn't have been pleasant to stay too long. As it was I managed to pick up a hitchhiker in the form of a small leech, quickly dispatched! We had a fantastic time on this tour and highly recommend it.

    When visiting Hobart this day tour is a must as it's a great way to indulge in the best Bruny has to offer. The food tastings were fabulous, the oysters amazing and lunch very good. Andrew our guide was such a pleasure to spend the day with - fun and attentive and really knows his stuff.

    David was a ball of knowledge on every question asked. Cheese tasting was sensational. Lunch was great in a beautiful setting. Fudge and honey tasting were good as well.

    Such an enjoyable trip and our highlight for our visit to Hobart! David was such a great tour guide - funny, entertaining and very friendly! The cheese, chocolate + garden was probably our favourite parts! Thank you :)

    Dave our tour guide was so professional and very friendly. He made our trip so enjoyable and comfortable. Everywhere we stopped was very interesting and staff were professional and friendly. Disappointed the chocolate shop didn’t have tastings. Consequently we didn’t purchase anything.

    The Tour was very good and Guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and informative. However, we had a young child and this type of trip was not really suitable for the age of the child. Also, the seats on the second last row are over the wheel arch and we ended up in these seats for the whole trip and it was extremely awkward and these seats should only be used if the bus is full because it is very uncomfortable for anyone who has to sit there. Food and Experience other than these items were wonderful.

    The whole day was excellent from moment Kate picked me up from my accommodation. All the stops were wonderful and I really enjoyed the day. Kate our tour kind was amazing.
