    Loved learning about the history of Hobart and a chance to walk to Cascade Brewery and the Botanic gardens. MONA was interesting!

    We did the half day morning tour of Hobart, followed by the afternoon at MONA last Monday. Our tour guide for the morning was Tim, and what he didn’t know about Hobart wasn’t worth knowing we thought! He was a knowledgeable and friendly local who imparted his knowledge in such a fun way. We really enjoyed our afternoon at MONA, and the ferry ride to and from (wow, what a different museum!) Thanks Tim for a great morning - we would definitely recommend this tour. Cheers, Kim & Ken :)

    A great experience from booking to end of tour. The staff went. Out of their way to advise on difficult access, to organise close pickups and the tour guide/driver was helpful, informed commentary, and pleasant Most enjoyable and adaptable when snow blocked our way. We especially enjoyed the drive around the narrow streets of Hobart and the informed stories of the past.

    Was most informative and entertaining and driver so courteous and friendly. So glad I did this tour as it gave me a good layout of where everything was.

    Really enjoyed this tour. The coach driver was very informative about the history of Hobart as he drove us all around. He got us back to the pier in plenty of time to catch the ferry to MONA. That was amazing. Not like any other museum or art gallery that we had ever been to. We had three hours there and it was not long enough to do the place justice. However what no-one pointed out to us, until we saw the sign while waiting for the ferry, is that from the pier on MONA's side it is 99 steps up to the museum itself. Apparently there is a shuttle if one is unable to climb the steps but that probably needs to be arranged beforehand.

    We chose the coldest, wettest day for our tour but absolutely had the best time. Christian our guide, ensured we had the opportunity to see all the beauty of Hobart, while providing great information and insight into its very interesting past. The visit to the Botanical Gardens was the highlight, we enjoyed a fabulous lunch whilst taking in our amazing surroundings. Our tour ended with a ferry ride to MONA which was another experience all together. Thank you Christian, for such an enjoyable, informative tour. We really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it to anyone on their next visit to Hobart.

    We found the tour so informative and a much better option than relying on your own resources. Tim was a great guide, very professional and built great stories and insights into the morning tour. We found the hobart Botanical Gardens a surprising highlight - what a beautiful place. Late October was the perfect time to visit with incredible colour everywhere. We enjoyed Hobart's history, architecture and of course the Museum of Old and New Art which we'd been looking forward to seeing for years. Nothing can prepare you for it - that's what great art should do, hey?

    Great consideration for those unable to manage the stairs with alternative arrangements. Seating required in the various sections is really a must.

    Had a great day out would recommend. The Mona was very different and glad we visited could of done with another hour.
