This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Bungle Bungle Range, Purnululu National Park, Western Australia 6743 Australia

You will be met at the airstrip by your tour guide, board the air-conditioned 4WD for your short drive to the start of the walk.

Enjoy a moderate 3km walk which takes in Piccaninny Creek, the beehive shaped sandstone domes and the jaw dropping Cathedral Gorge. You are provided with your lunch in a cooler bag to be carried on the walk which you get to enjoy in the shade of Cathedral Gorge. Throughout your walk your guide will point out local wildlife and flora and fauna.

Duration: 5 hours

Stop At: Cathedral Gorge, Northern Territory Australia

Enjoy a moderate 3km walk which takes in Piccaninny Creek, the beehive shaped sandstone domes and the jaw dropping Cathedral Gorge. You are provided with your lunch in a cooler bag to be carried on the walk which you get to enjoy in the shade of Cathedral Gorge.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Lake Argyle, Western Australia 6743 Australia

Enjoy the views from above when you fly over Lake Argyle, Australia's largest man-made lake.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Aviair, Lot 319/320 Laine Jones Drive Kununurra Airport, Kununurra, Western Australia 6743 Australia

The Aviair terminal is air-conditioned with seating for up to 25 people. When you arrive at Aviair there is parking available out the front and you will be welcomed with a smile as you arrive at our terminal for check-in. If you are self-driving, please check in no later than 30 minutes prior to the fligh departure time.

Stop At: Ord River, Kununurra, Western Australia Australia

Follow the Upper Ord River from Kununurra to Lake Argyle

Duration: 15 minutes

    This Tour does not run November to March due to the Purnululu National Park being closed.

    After an initial error in our booking (our tour was cancelled by mistake) Aviair made up for the error by putting us on a scenic flight over the bungles for free. We were thrilled because it was the only opportunity we were going to have to see the area. Our pilot Alana was very knowledgeable which made the experience even more interesting.

    What a day! Fantastic views from the sky. Today I spent an hour on a 10seater Cessna plane to the Bungle Bungles. ✈️Threw up constantly the whole way before landing at Purnululu National Park. Just was not my day to fly. We then boarded an open door helicopter which actually flew right above the 🚁Bungle Bungles! On the return flight we circled over the Lake Argyle Pink Diamond mine-site. Spectacular and amazing is this beautiful country in which we live. So proud to call WA my home. Big shout out to Shane (our pilot) at Aviair for trying to make the return flight back a lot cooler and less bumpy for me. Wonderful service. Highly recommend Aviair!

    Brilliant trip. We did the overnight stay in the Savanah lodge, combined with the guided walk and flights with Aviair. Our pilot Shane was a brilliant tour guide, and we were lucky enough to have him for both flights. Our 9 year old even got to ride back in the co-pilot seat which was the highlight of his holiday! Would highly recommend these flights to anyone, with or without the walking and staying bits - the flights alone are a great way to see Purnulu, Lake Argyle and the ORIA.

    This was such a great way to see Kununurra, the Bungle Bungles, Ord River and Dam, Argyle Diamond mine (currently closing down) and the vastness of Lake Argyle. Shane was a Captain and gave a very detailed commentary of what we were seeing. He flew lower over the main points of interest. Thoroughly recommend it.

    We did the 2 hour scenic flight over Lake Argyle, the Argyle mine and the Bungle Bungles. It was simple amazing. Reece piloted the little plane with 6 of us and did a fabulous job. A very personable and professional young man, constantly checking with us that we were OK. It was fantastic to see this magnificent landscape and the stunning features from the air. Reece’s narrative provided an excellent overview of and insight into the history of what we saw. We cannot rate this experience highly enough.

    My wife and I have just done a early morning flight with Aviair over Lake Argyle & the Bungle Bungles from Kununurra. It was fantastic. The view from the aircraft at 2,500 feet was tremendous. Shane our pilot, gave all on board brilliant views no mater what side you where sitting on. His knowledge and commentary are second to none. I thoroughly recommend you fly with Aviair.
