    My girlfriend and I had our first ever surf lesson with Terry at Kool Katz and had a great experience. Terry is a great guy and a great coach and had us both up on the board almost straight away.

    I had my first ever surf lesson with Terry and within two goes I was standing riding waves. Terry is very knowledgeable and a great coach for beginners. Thanks!

    My partner and I had an amazing day out with Terry learning the surfing ropes. We were standing up within the first hour of our lesson and continued to improve over the several hour lesson. Terry continued to provide excellent personal guided lesson for the entire duration of the lesson and even after he guided us on how to improve our surfing and where to get a cheap first board. Would definitely recommend! 5**

    Terry was an excellent teacher, very experienced and he took out lack of experience and age into consideration, he was a lot of fun too. After a quick lesson we were in the surf and I was up on my board riding a wave on my second attempt... I was thrilled.

    Excellent experience which exceeded our expectations. We learnt the key fundamentals of surfing while having plenty of fun and benefiting from individualised tips delivered by Terry and Connor. Time permitting, I would have arranged a follow-up lesson to ingrain the practical techniques that were clearly explained on the day. Wishing I'd had a go at learning to surf from a younger age too. Overall, this was incredible value for money and highly worthwhile.

    What a day out learning to surf with the very knowledgeable Terry and his cool crew. We were a group of complete beginners and all stood up on our boards and caught waves with the instructions of the Kool Katz guys. I'd highly recommend getting a lesson with Terry if in Byron or the surrounds and will be going back next time I'm there! Awesome day out surfing!

    We had an amazing time learning to surf with Terry! He picked us up, found the best beach for our abilities and was a fantastic coach. We made clear when we booked that we would be amazed if we could manage to stand up at all and, after making sure that we would rather achieve standing up and technique over catching something big, Terry took us to a spot and had both of us standing up after 15 minutes in the water!

    Great time out in the surf. We were a group of 5 girls. We were beginners and by the end we were all standing up and catching waves by ourselves. The crew were really fun and we all had an amazing time. Returned for another lesson the following day 😊 Great value and a great experience!

    The best part was great help from Terry and Dave who gave detailed instructions. They helped us out a lot. Great day of surfing!!
